POWERBASS: TOP-NOTCH AUDIO PRODUCTS WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK

Located in Ontario, California, Powerbass was founded in 2001 with the goal of producing top-notch audio products that can provide the public with excellence, value and reliability that we expect from an amazing brand. Twenty years later, Powerbass is still continuing to produce speakers, amplifiers and other accessories for vehicles, marine and powersports that will fit one’s budget and preferred application.

Here are just some of the wide array of products that Powerbass has to offer.

The Powerbass S-4002 coaxial car speakers is part of the Powerbass S-series, which has been around for 8 years. It has been tried and tested through time, and it has stuck around for this long for a reason. At just 4 inches, it still packs a punch with its sound quality. It has a shallow mounting depth, a 0.75 pure silk dome tweeter with neodymium magnet that delivers a smooth treble reproduction, a 2-layer DDC (Dynamic Damping Coating) cone that reduces distortion while adding UV protection and 4-ohm impedance.

Another great Powerbass speaker from the S-series is the S-60C. It is a 6.5-in component speaker system that has a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, a black 2 layer paper DDC cone that provides UV protection, a double pressed treated foam surround, a rigid tooled basket with a black finish and a 4-ohm impedance.

For subwoofers, Powerbass has the PS series which are perfect for music enthusiasts that are on a budget but cannot skimp on sound quality (I mean, who doesn’t?). One of the subwoofers they offer on these series is the PS-12, which is a 12” single 4-ohm subwoofer. It has a ribbed, DDC-treated paper cone, a 2-layer roll treated foam surround, a precision stamped steel basket with aeroventing, and  a 2” BASV voice coil. The 10-inch version, the PS-10, boasts the same specifications as the PS-12. Both of these subwoofers are optimized for sealed or ported enclosures.

And finally, Powerbass offers amplifiers. Their legendary ASA-series amplifiers are now on the third generation, which are the ASA3 amplifiers! They are narrower than previous generations and are more versatile to install, have broader input sensitivity, new extruded chassis that is designed to manage heat more effectively and a switchable logo back lighting.

The Powerbass ASA3-600.4 is a 4-channel, class A/B amplifier. It has a MOSFET power supply, an RCA input/RCA pass through output, LED power and protect indicators, remote soft delay turn on/off circuit, variable gain control, and is 2-ohm stable (4-ohm in bridged mode). Meanwhile, the ASA3-600.2 also has the same specifications as the ASA3-600.4, but is a 2-channel amplifier.
