This week, we are featuring the new Pioneer TS-WH500A HVT Sealed Active Subwoofer. HVT stands for Horizontal Vertical Transforming technology which basically means the transformation of horizontal to vertical movement of a woofer diaphragm to produce true, powerful and wide range bass. It is an innovative design that incorporates easy installation for cars, trucks and SUVs. Unique linkage mechanism allows the magnet and voice coil to be positioned horizontally and to either side of vertically moving dual speaker diaphragms. The TS-WH500A provides an RMS of 50 watts with a peak power of 150 watts. It's slick design also makes it easy to conceal in tight spaces making it ideal to place under the seats or back in the trunk and also includes a well designed remote that can be installed on your dashboard for easy access and control.

Installation of the Pioneer TS-WH500A is straightforward. Just connect the open ended RCA wires on the speaker out of your stereo and the red-white female RCA is connected to the TS-WH500A harness. Use the cord clamps to secure the wires at the back of the subwoofer. It is recommended to install the subwoofer on a flat surface area to achieve optimal production of rich bass. Lastly, connect the remote to the back of the subwoofer and install it on your dashboard using the 3M 2-sided sticker at a location you prefer.
